Thieves target a Green Country store, but weren't counting on being caught on tape.

Police Blotter: Thugs Rob Paralyzed Man (The Chattanoogan)

Police said two men robbed a paralyzed man at gunpoint at his home on Clearview Avenue. William Brown said he was in bed asleep when he was awakened and saw two black males with guns standing near his bed. He said they asked if he had any money, and he said no.

Exhaust part removed in shop lot (Livonia Observer)

Sometime during the night between Monday and Tuesday, someone cut the catalytic converter off of a 2001 Jeep Cherokee parked in the lot at Budget Brakes, 15140 Middlebelt. Catalytic converters are part of a car's exhaust system and have been a target for thieves because of their value as scrap metal. The cost to replace the unit is approximately $600 for that make and model.

Lexie Baptiste, 20, and Nilmarie Delgado, 20, both of Delsea Gardens Apartments, were each charged Oct. 15 with shoplifting at Wal-Mart on North 2nd Street. They were processed and released on summonses.
