JERUSALEM, Jan 6 (Reuters) - The sale of security software provider Aladdin Knowledge Systems to an affiliate of Vector Capital is close to being finalised, Israel's TheMarker financial news website said on Tuesday.

NEW YORK, Jan 6 (Reuters) - U.S.-traded shares of Aladdin Knowledge Systems soared 34.9 percent to $9.47 after the U.S. market open on Tuesday, following a report that the sale of the security software provider to an affiliate of Vector Capital is close to being finalized.
